 Who Are We?

Film editor

So you want to edit, do you? Okay, start with a small project.

  • Use these pictures to put on the front of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum tape, or better yet, insert yourn own, then we can play too, because we won't know if the person you display is passing or really is Black, or Jewsh, Catolico, or whatever.

  •

Dear Mr. Black is looking, not Black, but rather striped! Is that akin to Colored, or is he a Mulatto, half/half? Is a line-back dun mule a mulatto, or something Starbucks?

Can Mr. Black be a Jew? If  Bobby Brown......

Don't believe what they say in the airports, that the x-ray won't hurt your film! They can be wrong, even please. Po- lease. Po- lice. Whatever. It is up to each of us to decide what we shall be.

My idea, is to have a series of photographs and pictures, with captions, superimposed over the ruined video footage, inviting the viewer to subliminally process information as to race and ethnic background, asking at the beginning, for example,

"Is the person talking a Black? (Get it?)

Then maybe pictures like the ones above, with either voiceover, or captions. You get the idea....

If you want to play mikelmore, you can utilize the Alexandria Police force tape, but don't say I

didn't warn you that they may take umbrage.

That's my idea. You may have a better. Perhaps.

  • Ooooh! So you think you are ready for a feature? Alrighty, smarty pants, try this one. When you figure out how to edit these files after downloading, let us know, so we can let others know, who aren't as capable as U R, yet.

"There's never a reason to ask a man if he's from Texas. If he is, he'll tell you; if he's not, why embarrass him?"
